A Title can be a nickname, private joke or a relevant message such as
'Happy Birthday'
*
A Caption can be a text bubble such as something the subject says a
lot, or anything that is relative to the subject and his behaviour
*An
Activity is a hobby or theme that relates to the subject, such as playing
sport. This would generally include an item.
*If
the subject likes to play football then the activity would be in a prone
running position and the item would be the football and the guernsey,
etc.
*If
the subject likes to fish, then the subject is featured fishing as the
activity. The item would be the fishing rod, with maybe bait and tackle.
*
If the subject likes to surf, the activity is surfing with all the bodily
position that goes with it, the item is the surfboard and the wave.
One
activity and one item are included with Full Body Caricatures.
Some
items however are not included with the full body caricatures and are
charged as additional items (see additional items below)
These may include such items as animals, such as horses, in the
case of horseriding, or machinery such as the subject driving an automobile
or tractor.
A classic example would be if the subject is to be featured driving
a Mercedes Benz. No additional charge would apply if the car featured
is of a generic nature, that is bubbly cartoon-like with say, just the
three-pointed Mercedes hood ornament. This would automatically tell
the viewer that it is a Mercedes. If however it is necessary that the
car is drawn to be recognised as a certain make or model of the Mercedes
then that would be charged as an additional item as the item must be
reasonably and technically accurate.
ADDITIONAL
ITEMS
As mentioned, Additional Items are based on merit, and the charge can
vary considerably. So, it is a good idea to at least have a brief (handwritten
is OK) and so that I can provide an accurate quote. Additional items
can range from $5 - $50.
Extra
captions for example would be only $5.
People (in background) are generally around $10 each providing they
are not recognised caricatures, and anonymous in feature. Buildings
can range from $25 - $100. Machinery and automobiles are similar.

Here
is an example of an item-intensive caricature that I drew recently
of a subject that is quite wealthy who owns many houses, and features
his family + associated themes. In this extreme case, the items
account for 90% of the caricature. This caricature was worth $1,350.
The caricature of the subject up the telegraph pole was $350 and
the collection of 10 colour items were approx $100 each. |

MULTIPLE
CARICATURES
As
in any business, discounts apply for greater numbers.
Below is a good guideline of the price structure.
For multiple caricatures on the same or individual pages, based on heads
and shoulders/black & white on A4
For colour add 100% for single caricature and 50% for multiple caricatures.
